In line with the preparation for the upcoming Chemical Engineering Board Exam, the UST ChE department organized a 3-day mock board examination last Oct 20, 21, and 23 at Lab 9 of the Roque Ruaño Building.
Around 70 alumni participated in the said event with hopes of acing the upcoming board exam this November 18 - 20, 2017.
Ervin Luis Jayag, an alumni and former president of the Chemical Engineering Society, said he willingly attended to further prepare himself, and to know what aspect he needs to improve. Moreover, notwithstanding the difficulty of the said exam as he has described it, no hint of anxiousness has deterred him from doing his best.
“Mahirap yung exam, lalo na yung second day which concerns about Chemical Engineering Principles,” Jayag uttered. Anticipating an arduous board exam, he appreciated the set of questions prepared by the department.
“Maganda nga yung set of questions ngayon because they even included some trivia such as the Nobel prize winner para maupdate kami sa mga possible questions na lalabas sa mismong exam,” he added.
The exam serves as a preparation for the takers as they cover topics on Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Principles, and General Engineering knowledge.
